Several years back I was faced with the possibility of evacuating my home due to a nearby fire. At the time, it became very clear what was sacred to me there: family, pets, photographs, and guitars, pretty much in that order! Styled as a 'nicho', my alter is a shrine to photography, the camera, and the precious images and memories we are able to capture and share. Photographs are our connection to the past and details that our own memories can't always remember. • Free-standing or Velvet Ribbon for Wall Hanging • Vintage Wooden Box • Found Vintage Film Camera • Bottle Caps, Silk Flowers, Gold Paper • Vintage Fabric Scrap |
